I create custom mosaic art in my Northeastern CT home studio.  
In my mosaic pieces I use a variety of materials; mostly hand-cut
stained glass, vitreous glass tile, smalti glass, marble, pottery, pebbles, beads and
various found items.  I also tend to lean towards salvaging what some people might
think of as worthless items.....therefore I spend a lot of time at yard sales and thrift
shops to search out these items and give them new life.
